American Red Cross blood drive a success!May 7, 2008
The American Red Cross would again like to thank all the donors who came out on April 25 to give the "gift of life." There were 51 pints of blood collected that day, plus 13 pints at Formtech on March 28, for a total of 64 pints. Also, special milestones were reached by some frequent donors. Shirley Catlett, of Paris, is now an eight-gallon donor; Rebecca Richeson, of Robertsville, has given four gallons, and Diane Brown, of Salineville, has reached the three-gallon mark. Several also reached the one-gallon level this month. They are Frank Evans of Homeworth; Bill Fisher of East Canton; Margaret Barnhart and Cindy Sponseller of Paris. Thanks again to these and all the special people who come so faithfully to donate blood. The next blood drive is June 27 at the First Christian Church in Minerva. Hope to see you there. Comments
