The flower barrels, located in downtown Malvern, will be planted Saturday, May 17, starting at 9:30 a.m.
Volunteers are needed and should meet downtown with a trowel.
Residents are being asked to sponsor the barrels for a $35 donation. Sponsors are asked to include what they want written on the dedication card. A specific location may be requested and will be honored on a first-come, first-served basis.
Anyone wishing to sponsor a barrel may send a check payable to the Malvern Community Development Fund to P.O. Box 384, Malvern, OH 44644.
Volunteers are needed to water the barrels. Even if a person can do it for a part of the summer, his or her help is still needed. Please call Carol Brawley at 330-863-9234 to volunteer.
