Smith to play football at Baldwin-WallaceMay 7, 2008
Minerva football standout Ron Smith (seated, center) is flanked by his parents, Judi Mills and Sean Smith, as he signs a letter of commitment to play football at Baldwin-Wallace College. Also on hand are (back row, left to right) Ron's step-father, Austin Mills; Minerva Assistant Coach Lance Willison and Minerva Head Coach Brett Yeagley. "Ron was one of the hardest-working football players we had this past season," stated Coach Yeagley. "He hasn't even come close to reaching his full potential. Because of his work ethic, he has the potential to be a really good football player at Baldwin-Wallace." Smith chose to attend Baldwin-Wallace for several reasons. "I visited the campus and liked what I saw," noted the offensive lineman. "They have great facilities and I like the coaching staff." Comments
