Coached by Jeff McCauley and assistant coaches Ross Petree, Dawn Miller and Doug Kunz, the team features seven returning players and four who have moved up from last year's 10U league runners-up team. The team is enrolled in the C division, which is made up of the elite 12U teams in the Stark County League. Led by ace pitcher and leading scorer Mayson Hardgrove, this year's team has a well-rounded roster of speed, skilled fielders, quick base runners and multiple power hitters. Reliable playmaker and consistent slugger Kara Kunz will anchor the infield at first base, athletically gifted Shania Miller will play at second, Erica McCauley will aggressively prowl the infield at short, and third base belongs to strong-armed Madelyn Fischer. Morgan Preston, the catcher, is performing at a very impressive level for her first year in the position. Kaylyn Lanzer will provide depth at first and second base and will see plenty of time in the lineup. The outfield has been bolstered with the likes of speedy ball hawks like Payton Randall. The team is fortunate to have excellent depth with the likes of Chelsea Zeedrich, Alexa Bates, Brogan Petree, Tara Crawford and Michaela Bryan. The team would like to give thanks to everybody who has provided help and effort to make this season possible. The concession stand will be open. Comments
