The Beech Creek Botanical Garden comes alive in April and May with the blooming of many species of wildflowers, including trilliums, wild geraniums, buttercups, four species of violets, cresses, dwarf ginseng and much more. Join us on Thursday, May 8, and Tuesday, May 27, at 6 p.m. to stroll along the Fern Ridge Trail and enjoy nature's bouquet. Bring your wildflower-identification guide, camera, or binoculars if you want, or just bring yourself. We will meet in the parking lot and the walk will be led by volunteer naturalist Jim Nero. The trail can be muddy at times, so wear appropriate footwear. Comments
