May 2 at 1:48 p.m., police received a report of misuse of a credit card from a resident on Ike Street. May 3 at 2:15 a.m., while investigating an accident on Grant Boulevard, police later arrested David L. Howell II, Canton, for Driving Under Operating a Motor Vehicle While Intoxicated Suspension, Leaving the Scene of an Accident and Failure to Control. Howell is scheduled to appear in Carroll County Municipal Court. May 3 at 7:51 p. m., police arrested Brian E. Chambers, Alliance, on a warrant out of Minerva Mayor's Court for Failure to Pay Fines and Costs on a Speeding Violation. Chambers posted bond and was released. May 4 at 2:48 a.m., while investigating a noise complaint, police arrested Tommy Pugh, Jr., Minerva, for Furnishing Alcohol to an Underage Person, Disorderly Conduct by Intoxication and Resisting Arrest. Also arrested, Cody C. McKinney, Minerva, for Underage Consumption of Alcohol. Pugh and McKinney are scheduled to appear in Minerva Mayor's Court. May 4 at 12:49 p.m., police received a report of possible child abuse that occurred at a residence on Murray Avenue. May 4 at 4:48 p.m., police received a report of a domestic dispute that occurred at a residence on South West Street. May 4 at 7:39 p.m., police a report of harassment from a resident on Valley Street and a resident on Wine Street. May 5 at 9:19 a.m., police received a report of threats from a resident on West Line Street. Accident Reports: May 3 at 2:15 a.m., a vehicle operated by David Howell, of Canton, was traveling westbound on Grant Boulevard when the vehicle left the roadway and struck a bridge railing, causing severe damage. Possible injuries were reported. Howell was cited for Reasonable Control and Leaving the Scene of an Accident. May 5 at 12:26 p.m., a vehicle operated by Terry C. Lyons, of Minerva, was backing out of a driveway on Thomas Street and struck a vehicle owned by Andrea Berlin, of Brewster, that was parked on the street. Functional damages and no injuries were reported. Lyons was cited for Improper Backing. May 7 at 7:45 a.m., a vehicle operated by Tyler Beadnell, of Minerva, was turning onto East Sandyvale Street from Mountainview Drive, struck a vehicle operated by Michael Brown, of Bergholz, causing functional damages.
