Area women

attends Tulip Tea

A number of local and area women attended the 44th annual Tulip Tea, sponsored by the Indian Run Christian Church, on Saturday, May 3, held at the Little Country Church Fellowship Hall in Waynesburg. Registration began at 10 a.m. with everyone receiving a name tag.

The featured inspirational speaker was Charity Gray, whose topic was, "Refuge in the Wings of Mercy-Recognizing True Faith During Dark Times." Special vocal music was presented by Megan Felcyn with taped accompaniment.

A bountiful buffet salad luncheon followed with a free-will offering. Favors were packets of mints with a paper flower and Bible verse attached.
