The annual commencement and awards assembly for Carroll Hills School and Preschool will be held in the school gymnasium on Thursday, May 29, at 1 p.m.
The class of 2008 school-age graduates are Sarah Hines, daughter of Merle and Raye Long of Carrollton, and Dustin Starkey, son of Rebecca Moore of Carrollton and Ray Starkey of Dellroy.
The 2008 preschool graduates include: Elyza Bolanz, Hayden Burgett, Hannah Reagan Davis, Kailee Dunlap, Noah Fry, Shelley Johnson, Nevaeh Hutchison, Adam Lashley, Mary Jane Lewis, Reighly Newbold, Shiane Schandel and Joseph Ulman of Carrollton; Dakota Adkins of Dellroy; Iva Postlewait of Mechanicstown; and Raziel Baxter and Jessica White of Malvern.
In addition to the graduation ceremonies, the annual individual achievement awards will be presented to each preschool and school-age student. The music for the ceremony will be provided by the Melody Makers Bell Choir, which is comprised of enrollees from Carroll Hills School and Industries, and the Carroll Hills School Recorder Choir.
School and preschool students will also sing several songs appropriate to the occasion. All music is under the direction of the school's music teacher, Jo Baugher.
The ceremony is open to the public.
