Minerva YMCA members are honored at awards banquet

Four Minerva YMCA members were honored at the YMCA awards ceremony. The ceremony took place Tuesday, May 12, at the North Canton Civic Center.

Martha and Dave Gotschall received the Red Triangle Award for their extended and exemplary volunteer service as leaders in the YMCA of Central Stark County. The award is named for the three sides of the YMCA triangle, which stand for spirit, body and mind.

Past Minerva recipients have included Patricia Miller, John and Rita Hoffee and Tom and Jan Kishman.

Michaela Wilson received the Minerva YMCA Youth Leadership Award for her demonstration of volunteer effort.

Raymond Leasure was given the Minerva YMCA Adult Volunteer Award for his dedication and eagerness to volunteer.
