Wanda Wickersham

Wanda Wickersham, age 73, of Minerva, died Friday Feb. 12, in Green Meadows. She was born Aug. 11, 1936, in Alliance, to James and Ruth (Archibald) Stewart.

Wanda retired as assistant manager from Bank One in Minerva, where she worked for 47 years. She is a member of the Minerva First Christian Church, the Four Square Sunday School Class, and sang in the choir for many years. She graduated from Augusta High School in 1954 and was also the treasurer for the Minerva Salvation Army for many years.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Lee Ann Ball.

Wanda is survived by her husband, Richard Wickersham, who she married March 4, 1956, and son, Daryl Wickersham and fiancee Paula Kyle, of Mt. Vernon.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, Feb. 16, in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva, with Mr. Ralph Norman and Dale Roberts officiating. Burial was in East Lawn Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to the Minerva First Christian Church Memorial Fund or the Alzheimer's Foundation.
