Scholarships may be used to study in any field at any post-secondary educational institution, said Mike Hogan, Ohio State University Extension educator.

"Students may use these scholarships to study at any two-year or four-year college or university, at OSU's Agricultural Technical Institute, a technical college, or at any other post-secondary educational institution," Hogan said.

Students in any year of post-secondary study are eligible to apply for the scholarship.

Recipients of this scholarship in 2009 include Katie Rummell, Shelly Schmachtenberger, and Sally Schmachtenberger.

The scholarships will be awarded at the 2010 Carroll County Fair, and applications are due by May 1.
