Ribs in hand, Bethany Kintigh, of Minerva, decides to lose her shoes as she trudges through the soggy at the Carroll County fair-grounds.

Dale Foraker, of Two Fat Guys Bar-B-Q in Massillon, has been in the business since 2005. Two Fat Buys Bar-B-Q specializes in Kansas City style ribs, pulled pork and beef brisket.

Wet weather and storm warnings did not put a damper on the 8th annual Carroll County Rib Burn-off. Rib fans huddled under giant tents as they enjoyed the barbeque, roasted corn, deep-fried strawberries and lemonade at the fair-grounds.

The Carrollton High School Speech and Debate team offered games and face painting for children in addition to the sausage sandwiches, hot dogs and drinks it sold.
