Stark County Probate Judge Dixie Park received an Award of Judicial Excellence from the Ohio Association of Probate Judges.
The OAPJ is a statewide association consisting of Ohio's probate court judges. The association recognized Judge Park as an outstanding jurist.
The Judicial Excellence Award was presented in recognition of "the outstanding dedication of, and significant contributions made by Judge Dixie Park of the Stark County Probate Court to this Association; the citizens of Stark County; and the citizens of the State of Ohio."
Judge Park serves as chairperson of the Forms Committee. The committee is responsibility for drafting probate forms that are submitted to the Ohio Supreme Court for approval, and once approved become standard forms used by the probate courts and probate attorneys throughout Ohio.
Judge Dixie Park was not only recognized for her keen attention to detail, but also commended for her efforts that have been above the call of duty.
