"We've put in a windshield for just about everybody who lives in Minerva," said Interstate Glass Office Manager Barbara Thomas. "We've been here a long time."
Interstate Glass, which is owned by Thomas' parents, Frank and Rae Whitacre, has been in business for 24 years, offering auto and truck glass, stone-chip repairs, mirrors, residential and commercial glass, and fire glass for woodburning stoves.
"We've done glass for just about every commercial building in Minerva," Thomas said. "We enjoy servicing the community."
Interstate Glass also carries Castle glass cleaner, which Thomas said is "excellent."
The Whitacres, who bought Interstate Glass in 1984 and moved the business to Paris Township in 1986, appreciate the support of their local customers.
"We've been very fortunate," Thomas said. "Minerva's been very good to us."
Vince Bann has worked as Interstate Glass' auto glass technician since February 1988, providing mobile service, pick-up and delivery.
"We're friendly, honest and easy to get along with," Thomas said.
Interstate Glass is located at 15751 Lisbon St. NE, the corner of Whitacre Avenue and state Route 172, and can be reached at 330-862-3838. It is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
