On April 16, Carroll County Sheriff's deputies have arrested a Carrollton woman on theft-related charges following an investigation of a theft of checks from her employer.
Deputies arrested Joyce E. Austin, 50, of 3047 Parkland Drive SW, Carrollton, and was taken into custody at the sheriff's office.
Austin's arrest came after an investigation by deputies into her involvement in a theft of checks from a local business where she works.
