All American Kids 4-H Club met April 16 with Jordan Morsheiser conducting the business meeting and 20 in attendance.
Members were told to continue to collect pop cans for Relay For Life and to meet on May 4 to clean up along Buck Road. There will be a cookout at Morsheisers' afterwards. The club will be having an eat stand at Tractor Supply, on April 26. Club members are to take part in the Healthy Ohioans Fitness Walk at the fairgrounds, May 21.
Demonstrations were by: Alex Gotschall on "How to Set the Table;" Abby Yekel on "Using Proper Measuring Utensil;" Cassie Stack on "How to Handle a Rabbit;" and J.D. Little on "How to make a Milkshake."
A safety talk was given by Rachel Davala on "Hiking Safety."
A-Z 4-H Club met April 4 with Britani Logan conducting the business meeting and nine in attendance.
Members must have possession of all fair animals by May 15, and were told tag-in would be May 17. Members discussed the meeting with buyers for their 4-H project. In old business, Life Share will be May 10 and Bingo on April 19 at the nursing hoe.
Emily Host did a demonstration on "Softball Safety."
Brown Frame Round-up 4-H Club met April 6, with Paige Randal conducting the business meeting and seven in attendance.
Camp scholarships were discussed. Members were told to think what to donate for the endowment auction. Gift certificates are preferable. Officer training and the different duties were discussed. The thank-you contest was discussed.
Andrew Gascon gave a demonstration on "The Bisket Jointer Tool."
Safety/Health talks were by Kenny Eick on "Safety With Power Tools;" and David Eick on "Oral Hygiene and Brushing Your Teeth."
Clover Kids 4-H Club met April 13 with Katlyn Vernier conducting the business meeting and nine in attendance.
Members were told to recycle pop cans and to bring them to their meeting in two months for their environmental service. For community service they will fix Pattersonville sign and donate $20 to the buyer's dinner. Their program is to watch Camp Piedmont movie next week.
Nancy Sheckler gave a demonstration on "How to Properly Stretch Before Physical Activity."
Clover Kids also met March 18 with Katlyn Vernier conducting the business meeting and six in attendance.
The Health and Safety leader gave a talk. The Program Committee said they will watch a video about Camp Piedmont at the next meeting.
Annabell Vernier did a demonstration on "How to Clean a Tiger Face." Nancy Sheckler did a safety talk on "Paintball Safety."
East Township Young Producers 4-H Club met March 19 with Ben Wilson conducting the business meeting and 30 in attendance.
Members were told dues must be turned in at the April meting or will have a $2 penalty. An April 1 trip to the Carroll County Jail is their project work.
Demonstrations were by Doug on "How to Properly Change a Gun Barrel;" Brooke and Megan on "How to Put on a Helmet;" and Luke on "How to make a Mosaic."
Health/Safety Talks were by Megan and Brooke on "Fun Kart Safety;" Emily, "Counting Calories;" Maggie on "Pedestrian Safety;" and Matt on "What you Need in an Emergency Supply Kit."
Fellowship of the Clover 4-H Club met April 3, with Ellie Secrest conducting the business meeting and eight in attendance.
Members did officer training on parliamentary procedure and they had a break-out session according to office. The following positions were filled: Allyssa, Health; Mayleanna Safety; and Marleanna, photographer.
Fellowship of the Clover also met March 18 with Ellie Secrest conducting the business meeting and six in attendance.
Elections were held. The executive officers are as follows: Ellie Secrest, president; Aaron Boyes, vice president; Wendy Boyes, secretary; and Rachel Boyes, treasurer. Members planned to officer training, and the majority of the members are taking sewing projects. They planned a field trip to JoAnn's, as a learning experience.
