Seven local students were inducted into the National Technical Honor Society at R. G. Drage Career Technical Center in its 111th annual induction ceremony, April 23.
Thirteen senior and nine junior students were selected for this honor based on their accumulative grade-point average. Other qualifications included an attendance average of 95 percent or higher, extracurricular activities, and good citizenship.
Senior students inducted into the NTHS were: Angel Marie DeVore of Minerva, administrative office technology; Chad McCallin of Malvern, power mechanics; and Tony Picchione of Minerva, building construction technology.
Junior students inducted into the NTHS were: Benjamin Lambert of Minerva, metal fabrication; Felicia Lumley of Minerva, cosmetology; Tyler Moody of Malvern, agricultural science/farm management; and Justin Moore of Minerva, heavy truck/diesel technology.
Current NTHS students conducted the induction ceremony for the new students, with guidance from the NTHS advisor, Jody Koenigseker. These students included Jessica Goebeler and Kimberly Hall of Minerva, diversified health occupations; and Aaron Warrick of Minerva, auto service technology.
