Olen R. Nestrick

Olen R. Nestrick, 88, of Beavercreek, Ohio, and formerly of Minerva, died Feb. 10, 2010, at Trinity Community of Beavercreek Retirement Center.

He was born Sept. 24, 1921, near East Rochester to Samuel E. and Corrinne (Myers) Nestrick.

He graduated from Minerva High School in 1939 and was employed by Good Roads Machinery Company. He was also a salesman for the Crane Plumbing Fixture Company for many years.

Mr. Nestrick was a World War II veteran, having served with the Eighth Air Force B-17 heavy bombers in the European Theater.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Delbert A. Nestrick.

He is survived by four nieces, Susan (Shaun) Nickolson of Beavercreek, Ellen (Wally) Dodge of North Plains, Ore., Linda (Lonnie) Watson of Findlay, and Marcia (Walt) Smith of Alliance; and a half-brother, H. Dale Miller of Minerva.

Memorial services will be held at Trinity at a later date. Arrangements were by Gebhart-Schmidt-Parramore Funeral Home in Miamisburg, Ohio. Burial was at Liberty Cemetery.
