Rosa Maxine Watson

Rosa Maxine Watson, 75, of Minerva, passed peacefully from this earth at her home, with loved ones watching over her Friday, Feb. 19, 2010.

Rosa was born in Glouster, Ohio, on Aug. 1, 1934, the daughter of the late Walter Christopher and Mable Florence (Noland) Hillyer.

Rosa is survived by two daughters, Deborah L. (Charles III) Dobbins of Malvern, and Lisa (John) Howard of Mansfield; a son, Jeffrey A. (Diane) Watson of Malvern; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; three sisters, Wanna L. Offenberger of Minerva, Florene Schoupe of San Antonio, Texas, and Thelma Garner of Bowerston.

She is preceded in death by her husband, William Weldon Watson, in 2002; brothers Harold and James Hillyer; and sister Melva Phillips.
