James L. Ross

James L. Ross, 50, graduated to heaven after a long illness on Saturday, July 24, in his home. He was born Oct. 23, 1959, in Canton to James S. Ross, of Robertsville and the late Dorinda (McNutt) Ross. He was a purchaser for Union Metal and worked for the Luntz Corp. He graduated from Minerva High School and received a bachelor's degree from Walsh University. He is a member of the Toast Masters Club.

He is survived by his wife, Kimberly (Loving) Ross whom he married April 10, 2009, daughter Tracey Ross, of Canton; son James Ross Jr., of Leesburg, Fla.; stepdaughter Angelica Heun, of Parkman; two sisters Tina (Bill) Davis, of Olmstead Falls and Mary Ross, of Malvern; two brothers David Ross, of Canton and John Hanlon, of Strasburg; granddaughter Kaitlyn McCartney. He was preceded in death by a sister Robin Giffen.

Following cremation, a memorial service will be held Thursday July 29, at 10 a.m., in the Rivertree Christian Church on Portage Street in Massillon, with Chaplain Chad Durfree officiating. Arrangements were by Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home.
