Thelma Louise Bell, 83, of Minerva, passed away Monday, July 19, at Great Trail Care Center.
Thelma was born in Scio on Feb. 8, 1927, the daughter of the late Raymond and Grace (Markley) Bell. She was a member of First Christian Church of Minerva. Thelma retired from James River Inc. after working there for 41 years.
Thelma is survived by a son, Greg (Angie) Bell of Villa Rica, Ga.; a sister, Dolores (Paul) Patterson of Niles; two brothers, Gary (Sharlene) Bell of Minerva, David (Sue) Bell of Hanoverton; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by one brother, Kenneth Bell, and three sisters, Jeanne Smith, Marilyn Dexter, and Gloria Vint.
Funeral services were held at the Bartley Funeral Home, at 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 24, with Mr. Dale Roberts officiating. Burial was in East Lawn Cemetery. Friends unable to attend may register online at www.bartleyfuneralhome.com.
