Craig Miller, 63, of Minerva, died Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2012, in the Great Trail Care Center in Minerva.
He was born Oct. 31, 1948, in Canton to the late Larry and Vivian (Beatty) Miller. He retired from American Steel in Alliance and had worked for Lincoln Electric in Euclid. He was a member of the Minerva First Christian Church. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the 101st Airborne Division, and was a member of the Minerva VFW Post 4120, where he was a member of the drill team; American Legion Post 375 in Malvern; and the Tri-County Eagles of Minerva.
He is survived by two daughters, Jaynie (Kevin) Albers of North Ridgeville and Mandee (Ray) Sines of Painesville; son, Joshua Miller; brother, Scott Miller of Minerva and eight grandchildren; Allison Albers, Owen Albers, Marissa Sines, Emalee Sines, and Kyle, Ciara, Taytum and Zain Miller.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, Feb. 1, at 11 a.m. in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home with Mr. Ralph Norman and Mr. Dale Roberts officiating. Burial with full military honors will be in East Lawn Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Minerva VFW Post 4120.
