Terry L. Truex

Terry L. Truex, 60, of Malvern, died Monday, Nov. 19, 2012, in Mercy Medical Center.

He was born March 1, 1952, in Canton, to Doris (Parsons) Truex, of Minerva and the late Clair Truex Jr. He retired in 2001 from Summitville Tile in Minerva where he had worked for 23 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran having served in Germany and member of American Legion Post 357 in Minerva. He attended the Bayard United Methodist Church.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Helen (Dennis) Truex, whom he married April 7, 1990; son, Travis (Terri) Truex, of Minerva; sister, Vicky (Donald) Moon. of Coudersport, Pa.; and two grandchildren, Sierrah and Taylor Truex.

Funeral services were held Nov. 24 in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with the Rev. Scott Williams officiating. Burial was with full military honors in the Malvern Bethlehem Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Minerva American Legion Post 357.
