Helen L. Martin, 83, of Malvern, died Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012, in Mercy Medical Center in Canton.
She was born Aug. 25, 1929, in Malvern, to Willis and Anna (Hodge) Ludy. She was a 1947 graduate of Malvern High School and a member of the Malvern First Christian Church and Minerva Calvary Wesleyan Methodist Church.
She is survived by three daughters, Florence (James) Breckenridge of Malvern, Faye (Paul) VanMeter of Minerva, and Katherine (Gary) Price of Minerva; two sons, Ralph (Debbie) Martin of Canton and Willis (Carol) Martin of Minerva; two brothers, Roy (Joyce) Ludy of Malvern, and James Ludy of Malvern; 15 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Martin who died May, 19, 2011; a son, Kris Martin; and two sisters, Vera McDonald and Judy Ludy; and a great-grandson.
Following cremation, a graveside memorial service will be Friday, Dec. 14, 11 a.m., in Bethlehem Cemetery in Malvern with Pastor Blake Quales officiating.
