Olen Wayne Lewis, 91, of Malvern, passed away Thursday, Dec. 20, 2012, at his home.
He was born in Malvern, March 16, 1921, a son of the late Nellie (Harsh) and Iris Brian Lewis. He was a member of St. Martin Lutheran Church and had served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He worked at a laborer at Robertsville Brick, Weber Dental and Whitacre-Greer.
He is survived by two daughters, Sandra Butler, of Malvern and Shirley Lewis, of Carrollton; a son, Donald Lewis, Sr., of Carrollton; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Betty Hursh, of Canton, and Eileen Cogan, of Minerva.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Genevieve (Russ) Lewis, and a brother, Ray Lewis.
Funeral services were held at the Deckman-Bartley Funeral Home, Malvern, Dec. 22, with the Rev. A. Wallace Anderson officiating. Burial was in Bethlehem Cemetery. Friends may express condolences at the Deckman-Barley website, www.bartleyfuneralhome.com.
