Jack E. Carle, 69, of East Rochester, died Sunday, Dec. 30, 2012, in his home.
He was born Feb. 16, 1943, in Canton to the late William and Florence (Powell) Carle. He was a retired farmer having owned J-Car Farms and had worked at TRW in Minerva and Diebold in Canton. He was a member of the New Alexander Christian Church and the Columbiana County Farm Bureau.
He is survived by his wife, Judy (Hafner) Carle, whom he married May 27, 1962; two daughters, Lori Carle of Canton and Kelli (Alan) Hughes of Ravenna; son, Scott (Tammy) Carle of East Rochester; grandson, Aaron Carle; four step-grandchildren, David, Steven, Kara and Josh; and two sisters-in-law, Gayle Carle and Carol Carle. He is preceded in death by two brothers, William and Robert Carle.
Funeral services will be Thursday, Jan. 3, 1 p.m., in the New Alexander Christian Church with Mr. Robert McLaughlin and Mr. Tom Miller officiating. Burial will be in Moultrie Chapel Cemetery. Calling hours will be one hour prior to services, noon-1 p.m., at the church. Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
