Glenn E. Tucker, 76, of Augusta, died Friday, Feb. 15, 2013, in his residence.
He was born Feb. 18, 1936, in Royal Oak, Mich., to Charles and Lena (Buehrer) Tucker. He was a truck driver for several companies, retiring from Kaplan Trucking. He was a member of the Stillfork Presbyterian Church in Augusta, Teamster Local 92, past master and 50-year member of the Augusta Lodge 504 F&AM, past DEO of the 24th Masonic District, and past patron of Carroll Chapter 315 OES.
He graduated from Augusta High School in 1955. Glenn and his wife, Donna, enjoyed camping and traveling through all fifty of the United States.
He is survived by his wife, Donna (Kinsey) Tucker; five daughters, Rebecca (Steve) Bishop of Canton, Pam (Randy) Wickersham of Augusta, Jane (Marty) Green of Malvern, Janet (Randy) Dillon of Augusta, and Debra (Dennis) LyVere of Freeland, Mich.; two sons, Thomas (Amy) Tucker of Wadsworth, and Timothy (Patsy) Tucker; 22 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by a son, Terry Tucker; sister, Barbara Mingus; and two brothers, Donald, and Charles Tucker.
Funeral services were held Feb. 18 in the Stillfork Presbyterian Church in Augusta with the Rev. Ryan Hale officiating. Burial was in Augusta Cemetery. Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Those unable to attend may sign the register at www.gotschallfuneralhome.com.
