Craig A. Richardson, 65, died on March 9, 2017, after a year-long fight against cancer. He was the husband of Candace L. Richardson. They shared 45 years together.

Born in Canton, Ohio, he was the son of the late Fred L. and Ruth M. (Hockenberger) Richardson of Minerva. He was a graduate of Minerva High School, 1969, and Kent State University, 1973. He started his career as an educator and moved into the field of Manufacturing/Quality control. He worked as the Quality Assurance Manager with Applied Ceramics, Inc., Doraville, Georgia, and retired in October 2016.

He is survived by wife, Candace (Roudebush) Richardson; two daughters, Caley Coleman and Cody Richardson; a brother, David P. Richardson; four brother-in-laws, Joseph A Roudebush, Robin R. Roudebush, Lance D. Roudebush, and Troy W. Roudebush; two granddaughters; and one grandson.

He was a member of the Lawrenceville First Christian Church. He was a good Christian, husband, father, and friend, an avid golfer in his younger years, loved a good Saturday morning yard sale, enjoyed reading any newspaper, and always a football fan.

Wages and Sons, Lawrenceville, Georgia, is handling arrangements. No memorial services are planned at this time. The family asks in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to a favorite charity.
