We would like to publicly acknowledge the generosity of the companies and associations who donated the livestock from the Junior Fair projects to the county home, Carroll Golden Age Retreat. Thank you so much to: Waynesburg Farmers Exchange (Happy Thanksgiving!); the Carroll County Republican Party; the Carroll County Township Association, Mark Walters, treasurer; and J. Hawk Water Service.

I hope you realize the financial benefit relief this provides for us. The pigs will provide Christmas hams and pork for us for the remainder of the year. The kitchen staff is excited to prepare the enormous turkey for our Thanksgiving dinner.
