Brown Local Schools will be having two meetings on the November 6 Bond Issue Sept. 24-25, both 7 p.m. in the school Library.
November 6 Bond Issue deals with the construction of a new Kindergarten through 12th grade school facility.
Several citizens and staff have been working on a bond issue campaign for Brown Local Schools.
The school would like to extend an invitation to all community members for the following events.
The Sept. 24 site meeting to review guidelines and explore possible sites for property purchase, including:
15 acre minimum up to 50 acres
Within Village limits or annexable to sustain income tax revenue for Village budget
Outside flood plain
Sufficient natural storm drainage
Accessible roads for traffic flow
The Sept. 25 Bond Issue meeting will include information on sharing and committee work.
Brown Local Schools will present information or meet with groups of citizens to answer questions and explain the project.
